Today, our Gospel Lesson comes from the Book of Mark. We find Jesus answering the questions of the Disciples in unexpected ways, and reminding all of us that as servants of a Risen Lord, we sometimes need to take the long view.

Today, we commemorate All Saints Day, the day on our Church calendar where we remember those who came before us in the faith. We explore the Book of Ruth and ask what it means to truly be loyal to the Family of God.
Today we finish our month-long study of the Book of Job. We conclude with a happy ending, even if it is not the happy ending we all expected.
Today we look at a challenging scripture lesson, where at first glance God seems so angry. But when we really dive in, we find ourselves asking if God is really angry, or if God is just being God?
This morning, we continue to examine the Book of Job. We find Job angry and feeling abandoned by God. Today we ask the difficult question, is that OK?
